Ex-demo Duotone Mast Slim 2.0 D/LAB 84cm in excellent condition. This mast has seen light demo use but remains exceptionally clean and represents a substantial saving against the original £1,199 retail price.
The 84cm Slim 2.0 D/LAB is Duotone's premium High Modulus Carbon mast for riders looking for maximum stiffness, minimal drag and a particularly direct connection between board and foil. At 84cm it is also the most versatile size in the range, particularly well suited to wing foiling, freeride, freestyle and wave riding.

Why choose the Slim 2.0 D/LAB?
This is a worthwhile upgrade for an experienced foiler who can actually benefit from a stiffer, thinner mast. Its slim profile reduces resistance through the water, helping the foil accelerate more freely and retain speed through turns and glides. The High Modulus Carbon construction keeps flex and twist exceptionally well controlled, giving a more precise response when carving, pumping or loading the foil.
The 84cm version strikes a particularly useful balance. It gives enough mast length for normal wing-foiling conditions and waves without the additional leverage of the 94cm mast, while offering more clearance than the surf and downwind-orientated 76cm version.

Compatibility
The Mast Slim 2.0 D/LAB uses Duotone's 3BS connection system and is intended for compatible Duotone 3BS fuselages and foil systems. It is not a universal mast-to-fuselage fitting, so please check your existing foil configuration before ordering.
Duotone advise avoiding jumping with front wings with a span greater than 100cm when using the Slim 2.0 D/LAB.

Our experience with the D/LAB Slim mast
We've ridden the D/LAB Slim mast ourselves and its advantage becomes most noticeable once you are already a competent foiler. The combination of stiffness and reduced drag gives the foil a noticeably cleaner, more connected feel than an aluminium mast and makes particular sense when paired with higher-performance front wings.

Who is this mast for?
We would recommend this mast to intermediate through advanced riders looking to reduce drag and improve the responsiveness of an existing Duotone foil setup. It is particularly attractive at this ex-demo price if you have been considering moving from an aluminium or standard carbon mast into Duotone's D/LAB equipment.
If you are just learning to foil and outright performance is not yet a priority, a less expensive aluminium mast is likely to represent better value and will generally be less stressful to learn with.

What condition is this mast in?
It is an ex-demo mast in excellent condition. It has been lightly used rather than being factory-new, so minor cosmetic evidence of use may be present. Please use the product photographs as the best guide to its condition.
Is 84cm a good mast length for wing foiling?
Yes. For most riders the 84cm is the versatile option within the Slim 2.0 D/LAB range. It works particularly well for general freeride, freestyle and wave wing foiling.
Will it fit my existing Duotone foil?
It requires a compatible Duotone 3BS fuselage connection. If you send us the model and year of your current mast, fuselage and front wing, we can check the combination before you order.
Why choose D/LAB rather than an aluminium mast?
The main gains are stiffness, reduced drag, lower weight and a more direct response. For experienced riders these differences can translate into better glide, cleaner carving and more precise control. For a beginner, however, aluminium generally offers better value.
