The Duotone Now Air SLS iSUP Package is the youth board in the new Duotone inflatable range, built specifically for lighter riders who need a board that feels manageable, stable and genuinely fun rather than oversized and awkward. The Now Air SLS fixes that properly. Who is the Now Air SLS designed for?
It is designed for kids and lighter junior riders who need a board that feels right for their size and weight, rather than a downsized adult compromise.
Will a child outgrow it quickly?
It depends on rider size. If they are well under the 55kg mark and still developing confidence, it makes a lot of sense. If they are already close to that limit, it may be smarter to look at the Flow or Grace instead.
Can it be used in small waves?
Yes. It is not a dedicated surf SUP, but the compact all-round shape gives it enough versatility for first small-wave fun as well as flat-water paddling.
Why not just put them on a bigger adult board?
Because an oversized board often feels harder to carry, harder to control and less enjoyable to paddle. The right-sized board usually helps young paddlers progress faster and enjoy sessions more.
