Description
The Fanatic Diamond Air 10'4 is a stable, lightweight and easy-to-handle inflatable paddleboard for relaxed cruising, learning the basics and enjoying occasional small waves. At 10'4 long and 33 inches wide, it offers reassuring stability without feeling unnecessarily large or difficult to turn.
This ex-display board is supplied as a practical package with a Fanatic backpack, Fanatic HP2 hand pump, coiled SUP leash and removable 19.5cm centre fin. Add a suitable paddle and personal safety equipment, and you will have the core equipment needed to get on the water.
Ex-display condition
This board has been displayed in one of our stores and is therefore offered at a reduced price. It may show light cosmetic or storage marks to the board, bag or accessories from being handled and displayed.
Ex-display equipment is not sold as factory-sealed or cosmetically perfect. Please review the product photographs as part of the condition description.
Where the Diamond Air 10'4 fits
The Diamond Air uses Fanatic’s proven all-round 10'4 shape. It is designed to provide an accessible balance of stability, manoeuvrability and everyday glide rather than specialising in racing or long-distance touring.
Fanatic originally positioned the Diamond range towards female paddlers through its graphics and styling. In practical terms, the shape can suit any paddler whose weight, experience and intended use match the board. Correct sizing is more important than the colour scheme or marketing category.
Compared with a shorter 9'8 board, the 10'4 provides more volume, a larger standing area and better straight-line glide. It is therefore the more versatile Diamond Air size for general recreational use.

Choosing a paddle
A lighter paddle is one of the most worthwhile additions to this package. It reduces fatigue, feels easier to control and makes every paddle stroke more comfortable, particularly during longer recreational sessions.
The Fanatic Carbon Pure three-piece paddle is a particularly good match. It offers a lighter and more refined feel than a basic aluminium paddle while still separating into three sections for storage inside the board bag.

The recommended rider range is approximately 65–95kg. Beginners near the upper end of that range may prefer a larger or wider board for additional stability, particularly in choppy water.
Can I carry a child or dog?
A small passenger may be possible for an experienced paddler where the total load remains appropriate. For regularly carrying a child, larger dog or extra equipment, we would recommend a wider and higher-volume board.
Can the Diamond Air be used on the sea?
Yes, in sensible conditions. It is suitable for sheltered harbours, calm coastal paddling and small waves. Check the weather, wind direction, tide and local conditions before launching, and use appropriate safety equipment.
Can I replace the fin?
Yes. The board uses a standard US fin box and is supplied with a 19.5cm centre fin. Compatible touring and shallow-water fins can be fitted where required.
