It is a useful upgrade for existing Foil Drive owners who want the newest controller interface, and it is also a sensible replacement if your current controller has been damaged, lost or is due for an update.
Where the earlier Foil Drive controllers focused mainly on simple throttle operation, the V3 adds a more refined riding experience with live GPS telemetry, dual throttle modes, boost control, a clearer sunlight-readable display and wireless charging. In plain English, it gives you more information and more control without making the system harder to use.
Where This Sits In The Foil Drive Range
The V3 Throttle Controller is Foil Drive’s most advanced controller to date and is designed to work across the Foil Drive ecosystem. It is compatible with Foil Drive Assist MAX, Assist Slim, Assist PLUS, Assist and Foil Drive Fusion systems, making it a versatile upgrade or replacement part for riders already invested in Foil Drive.
If you are building a new system, your complete Foil Drive kit will normally include a controller already. This product is best suited to riders replacing a controller, upgrading an older controller, or wanting a spare so they are not left without a session if their main controller is misplaced or damaged.
