The ION Plasma Boots 3/2 Internal Split (IS) are the technical upgrade to the standard Round Toe model. While they remain part of ION’s "budget-friendly" range, the Internal Split feature completely changes the performance profile. By separating your big toe from the rest of your foot inside the boot, you gain a massive increase in stability—preventing that annoying "rolling" or "sliding" inside the neoprene when you're putting heavy pressure on your rails during a turn.

    Internal Split (IS): This is the star of the show. You get the improved grip and "locked-in" feel of a split-toe boot, but because there is no external gap in the rubber, you retain the warmth of a classic round-toe boot. It's the best of both worlds.

    Segmented Sole Architecture: The sole features strategic cutouts that enhance flexibility in the arch and forefoot. This mimics the natural movement of your foot, providing a much more "barefoot" feel than traditional flat-soled boots.

    Rubber Wings Support: Strategic rubberized reinforcements wrap around the ankle area. These "wings" provide lateral support, ensuring your foot stays centered even during aggressive board pumps or high-G carves.

    Pull_Loop Entry: A heavy-duty, reinforced loop at the heel makes it much easier to pull the boots on, even with freezing or numb hands at the end of a long session.

    Glued & Blind Stitched (GBS): The seams are glued and then stitched halfway through the neoprene. This technique prevents cold water from seeping in through the seams, keeping your internal temperature stable.
