The ION Arctic 5/4mm Neoprene Mittens are engineered for watersports athletes who push through extreme sub-zero air temperatures and frigid mid-winter water conditions. Designed around a pre-curved mitten architecture, these gloves keep your fingers grouped together inside a single thermal chamber to maximize body heat retention, making them significantly warmer than traditional 5-finger gloves.
Combining a high-density 5/4mm neoprene profile with a wind-blocking Neoprene Skin / Smoothskin exterior and IONβs plush Plasma_Plush 2.0 thermo-lining, the Arctic Mittens eliminate windchill across the back of the hand while maintaining the tactile grip required for holding wing booms, kite bars, paddles, and surfboard rails.
