Is this board suitable for beginners?
Yes. These boards are built around stable widths and friendly shapes, so you can focus on balance and paddle technique rather than fighting the board. If you’re between sizes, we’ll happily advise based on your height, weight and where you plan to paddle.
How do I choose between Nera, Yarra and Loa?
Go Nera for a straightforward first package and a lighter carry. Choose Yarra if you want more comfort and features for regular use. Pick Loa 11'6 if you’re a heavier rider, want extra stability, or plan to take a child/dog/gear more often.
How long does it take to inflate?
Most paddlers are on the water in around 5–10 minutes. The included pump gets you moving quickly, and it’s a great warm‑up before you paddle.
Do I need anything else to get started?
You’ve got the essentials in the bag. We’d still recommend a buoyancy aid, suitable clothing for the conditions, and a dry bag for valuables. If you’re paddling rivers or moving water, a quick‑release leash setup is the right way to do it.
Can I try one before buying?
Yes – you can book a slot at our SUP Test Centre at Woodmill, Southampton. It’s £25 per person (refundable against a paddleboard purchase) and you can try multiple boards in one session.
Does it come with a sail rig?
No – this is a full paddleboard package with a built-in windsurf insert. Add a SUP sail rig / mast base separately when you’re ready, and if you’re unsure what will fit, drop us a message and we’ll point you to the right parts.
