Description

Slingshot One-Lock Carve Tail 200 is the stabiliser for riders who want more hold, more grip and a more locked-in feeling when they are really leaning the foil over. It is particularly well suited to powered riding, tighter carving lines and kite foil use where control at speed matters.

Compared with the One-Lock Turbo Tail 180, the Carve 200 offers a more planted sensation in harder turns. Compared with the One-Lock Flare Tail, it is less about looseness and more about dependable hold and control when the session gets quick and committed.

Why choose the Carve Tail 200?

  • Designed for riders who want more bite and hold in committed turns.
  • Very well suited to kite foiling and faster, more powered wing sessions.
  • A strong option if your current rear wing feels too loose or slippery in carves.
  • Specialist performance tail for riders who know the feel they are chasing.

Key features explained

  • Carve-focused geometry: helps the tail hold its line when pressure builds through turns.
  • More locked-in feel: useful for riders prioritising control at speed.
  • Performance positioning: best suited to riders already comfortable on foil.
  • One-Lock compatibility: easy to swap into a broader modular setup.

Where it sits in the range

The One-Lock Verse Tail 270 is the stable beginner option, the One-Lock Turbo Tail 180 is the broad progression upgrade, the Carve 200 is the hold-and-control specialist, and the One-Lock Flare Tail is the looser, more reactive speed option.

Who is the Carve Tail 200 best for?

It is best for riders who like a more planted, direct feel in fast turns and want a rear wing that holds confidently in powered conditions.

How does it compare with the Turbo Tail 180?

The Carve gives more hold and a more locked-in feel through committed turns, while the Turbo feels a touch looser and more all-round.

Specifications

  • Features

Screwless One-Lock System: Features the monobloc monofoiler connection, eliminating hardware drag and allowing for a perfectly flush, high-speed profile.

Aggressive Tail Lock: The specific geometry and wingtip design ensure the stabilizer stays planted, providing the confidence to lean deep into turns.

High-Speed Pitch Stability: Engineered to maintain a consistent ride height even as speeds increase, preventing the "bucking" feeling often found in larger beginner stabilizers.

Powered Riding Performance: Ideal for kitefoilers or wingers using smaller, high-performance wings in strong UK winds.

Premium Composite Construction: Built to be stiff and responsive, ensuring that every movement from your feet is translated directly into the water.
