Made with lightweight and durable Lycra, the Starboard tights are built to protect you from the elements while assisting your performance. Integrating strategic mesh panels to keep you cool and dry when paddling, whilst protecting you from the sun’s harmful rays.
Starboard use recycled polyester which is polyester fabric harvested from plastic that has been recycled, like single-use water bottles. The process takes sorted and cleaned pellets of the recycled plastic and melt them into new threads, which are then knitted into new fabric. This process is much less energy-intensive and helps to re-use single-use plastics as well as helping to prevent these plastics from entering our oceans.
