The Starboard Velocity Carbon 2-Piece Adjustable Paddle (2027 Edition) is Starboard’s high-cadence, high-turnover paddle designed for fast touring, fitness training, and racing paddlers who want a rapid catch and clean release. Positioned alongside the deep-concave Lima Carbon, the Velocity features a flatter, high-aspect double-dihedral blade geometry paired with a multi-axial carbon layup and protective ABS perimeter rail—delivering accessible, joint-friendly speed and long-term durability.
Built with Starboard’s responsive Flex 35 (F35) carbon shaft, the Velocity Carbon absorbs peak joint impact on the initial catch and recoils crisply through the finish of the stroke. The hydrodynamic double-dihedral blade eliminates flutter, allowing you to sustain higher strokes-per-minute (SPM) with reduced shoulder and back strain over distance.

Velocity Prepreg Carbon 2 Piece Paddle - 2025 is best for paddlers whose priorities match its blade shape, shaft format and construction. If you are torn between Tufskin, Enduro, Lima or Velocity, we are very happy to talk through the trade-offs rather than leave you guessing.
Should I choose 3-piece, 2-piece or fixed length?
A 3-piece is the easiest for travel, storage and sharing. A 2-piece is the natural step up for regular paddlers who want a stiffer, quicker-feeling setup. Fixed length is the lightest and most direct option once you know your ideal size.
Can I compare paddles before buying?
Yes. At our Woodmill SUP Test Centre you can compare different paddles on the water, which is often the quickest way to feel what changes in blade shape, shaft stiffness and weight actually do.
