Should I use this without basecoat?
You can, but it usually works better over basecoat because the wax builds more cleanly and tends to last better.
What conditions is Warm wax for?
It is intended for warmer water, roughly around 18°C to 23°C. If conditions are cooler than that, you will usually want a cooler-temperature wax instead.
Why does temperature-specific wax matter?
Because wax that is too soft for the conditions can smear and lose structure, while wax that is too hard can feel slippery and harder to build properly.
