Who should choose the Subnado PLUS over the standard Subnado?
Choose the PLUS if the main reason you are buying is stronger propulsion. It is the better option for buyers who want more pull, a bigger battery and a more capable feel. If you just want compact underwater fun and to keep cost down, the standard package or Lite may be enough.
Is the Subnado PLUS the right choice for paddleboards and kayaks?
Not usually as a first choice. The PLUS is primarily a handheld underwater scooter. If your main aim is surface propulsion or assist on a SUP or kayak, the SUP Motor Package is normally the more appropriate route.
Can I travel with the Subnado PLUS battery?
The 144Wh battery sits in the 101–160Wh bracket, so airline approval may be required before flying. Always check the latest rules with your airline before travel rather than assuming it will be accepted automatically.
Is the Subnado PLUS beginner-friendly?
Yes, in the sense that it is still compact and straightforward to use, but it is really aimed at buyers who want more performance rather than the simplest or cheapest way in. For casual family use or lighter holiday use, the Lite can be the easier starting point.
How deep can the Subnado PLUS be used?
Waydoo states a maximum depth of 60m. As always, depth capability on the product is not the same thing as user skill or safe dive planning, so use it within your training, environment and conditions.
