Waydoo Remote Control Charging Cable
The Waydoo Remote Control Charging Cable is the replacement magnetic USB charging lead for compatible Waydoo eFoil hand controllers. Ideal if your original cable has been lost, damaged or has suffered corrosion from regular use around salt water.
The magnetic connector locates onto the charging contacts on the remote without needing a conventional plug-in socket. As well as making charging quick and simple, this design helps reduce physical wear to the charging connection.
Compatibility
This charging cable is suitable for the following Waydoo remote controllers:
- Waydoo Flyer EVO Remote
- Waydoo Flyer ONE Plus Remote
- Waydoo Flyer ONE / Jet ONE Remote
If you have an older Waydoo system and are unsure which remote you own, we recommend checking with us before ordering. A photo of the controller and its charging contacts is normally enough for us to confirm compatibility.

Charging Your Waydoo Remote
Make sure the remote and charging contacts are clean and completely dry before connecting the cable. Bring the magnetic end of the cable towards the remote's charging contacts and it will locate into position magnetically.
Connect the USB end to a suitable USB power supply. Charging time depends on the generation of remote; Waydoo quotes approximately 2 hours for the current Flyer EVO remote, while earlier Flyer ONE controllers may take around 3 hours.
After riding in salt water, rinse the remote with fresh water and allow it to dry thoroughly before charging. Keeping both the remote contacts and magnetic charging connector clean is particularly important for reliable long-term charging.

Does this charging cable work with the Waydoo Flyer ONE Plus remote?
Yes. It is compatible with the Waydoo Flyer ONE Plus remote controller.
Does it work with the newer Waydoo Flyer EVO remote?
Yes. The cable is compatible with the Flyer EVO remote, which uses a magnetic USB charging connection.
Will it work with the original Waydoo Flyer ONE?
Yes. Compatibility also extends to the original Flyer ONE / Jet ONE remote controller.
Does this charge the Waydoo eFoil battery?
No. This cable is only for charging the handheld remote controller. The main Waydoo Powerflight battery requires its dedicated battery charger.
Should I charge the remote immediately after using it?
If the remote has been used on the water, particularly in salt water, rinse it with fresh water first and allow the remote and charging contacts to dry completely before connecting the charging cable.
