The Infinity Downtown is a very capable and hugely rewarding to paddle. It seemingly pulls off the impossible feat being very fast with masses of easily accessible glide while remaining very stable and highly manoeuvrable in the bumps.
This the "flat deck" design of the Downtown makes this downwind board a pleasure to paddle a cross a broad range of conditions and has become for many their all around premium utility board. The flat deck Downtown not only ticks the boxes required for basic flatwater paddling, bumpy lakes and ocean but also of course, it flies downwind.
As the latest iteration of the Infinity Downtown; the entire standing cockpit has been moved further back to create more volume in the forward sections for better recovery. The nose has benefitted from furtehr shaping and added more curves from the bottom up creating more lift in the front when in larger swells and sea states. This new nose design and the additional volume makes this board incredible upwind and when paddling into the chop.
