Starboard 2027 inflatable paddleboards: new arrivals
Starboard’s latest inflatable boards have arrived at The SUP Company. The Touring Deluxe and Airline Allstar are available now in selected sizes; the Generation Deluxe 2027 listing currently shows shipping from 10 November. The popular 12’6 Touring Deluxe Lite ONE Package has also returned after selling out repeatedly through the summer.
If you are choosing between a fast 14ft race board, a versatile all-water shape and a touring board for longer days, the difference is in how you plan to use it. Here is a straightforward guide to the new arrivals and the returning favourite.

Four Starboard inflatables, four different reasons to choose them
| Board | Choose it if… | Think about… |
|---|---|---|
| Airline Allstar 2027 | You want a 14ft inflatable for racing, fast training and technical courses. | Width affects stability and speed; choose 24.5, 26 or 28 inches to suit your balance and conditions. Check the live page for size availability. |
| Touring Deluxe 2027 | You want a more substantial touring board for longer paddles, glide and carrying day-trip kit. | Available in 12’6 and 14ft options, with widths suited to different balances of speed and stability. |
| 12’6 Generation Deluxe 2027 | You want one inflatable for touring, fitness paddling, coastal chop and the occasional small wave. | Its crossover outline is more playful and manoeuvrable than a dedicated touring shape; it is not a specialist race board. |
| 12’6 Touring Deluxe Lite ONE Package | You want an accessible, light touring package for progressing beyond a short all-round board. | The 12’6 x 30in shape prioritises a useful balance of glide and stability. The paddle is selected separately. |
Starboard Airline Allstar 2027: race performance in a packable board
The Starboard Airline Allstar 2027 is a 14ft all-water inflatable race SUP. Airline tension technology is designed to improve stiffness, while the outline is intended to work across more than perfectly flat race courses. It makes sense for experienced paddlers who want to train, race or travel with a performance board that packs away.
The 2027 board carries forward the established platform, with a subtle graphic update from 2026. Its listed widths are 24.5in, 26in and 28in; availability varies by width, and the narrower size calls for more balance. Read our race paddleboard width guide before choosing.

Starboard Touring Deluxe 2027: built for distance
The Starboard Touring Deluxe 2027 is for paddlers who want to cover more ground with less correcting between strokes. Its longer touring outline is better suited to rivers, harbours, lakes and sheltered coastal routes than casual beach play or small surf.
Choose the 12’6 x 30in if you want a manageable step into touring. The 14ft options offer a longer waterline, with 28in, 30in and 32in widths to consider. As usual, more width brings confidence and room for kit, while a narrower board rewards better balance. Compare it with the lighter Touring Deluxe Lite if easier carrying and lower weight are higher priorities.

Starboard 12’6 Generation Deluxe 2027: one board for mixed conditions
The 12’6 Generation Deluxe 2027 is currently listed with shipping from 10 November. It sits between a straight-line touring board and a more playful all-round shape. Its 12’6 x 30in size gives useful glide for fitness and exploring, while the crossover outline is better suited to changing water and small surf than a dedicated touring board.
It is a strong option if you want one premium inflatable to do several jobs. For mainly calm-water distance paddling and carrying gear, the Touring Deluxe is more focused. For racing, choose the Airline Allstar.

The 12’6 Touring Deluxe Lite ONE is back
The Starboard 12’6 Touring Deluxe Lite ONE Package has been a popular way into proper touring. Its 12’6 x 30in outline offers more glide and straighter tracking than a typical short all-round inflatable, while remaining approachable for developing paddlers. It is back after selling out several times during the summer.
The package includes the board, fin, leash, double-action pump and wheeled roll bag; choose a paddle separately to suit your height and paddling style. If you need more width, carry a dog or regularly paddle loaded, speak to us about a larger board before deciding.
Which Starboard inflatable should you choose?
- For racing and fast training: start with the Airline Allstar, then choose a width that lets you paddle confidently in your usual conditions.
- For efficient distance paddling: compare the Touring Deluxe with the lighter Touring Deluxe Lite.
- For coastal exploring and mixed use: the Generation Deluxe offers more versatility than a pure touring shape.
- For an accessible touring package: the Touring Deluxe Lite ONE makes a straightforward step up from an all-round inflatable.
