Do I need a Doodad with this mast?
No. AXIS carbon masts use an integrated design, so the Doodad is not required in the way it is with the aluminium mast system.
Which length should I choose?
Shorter lengths are generally easier in shallower water and feel a bit less intimidating. Longer lengths give you more clearance in chop, more room to manage lift, and better support for higher-speed riding.
