The AXIS PNG V1 Carbon Front Wing is the classic pump-and-glide choice in the AXIS foil range for riders who want easy lift, loads of glide and a forgiving high-aspect feel without chasing outright top-end speed.
If your priority is getting up early, staying flying for longer and making foiling feel less hard work, the PNG V1 still makes a lot of sense. It is especially good for riders building a setup around pump foiling, dock starts, tiny surf, light-wind wingfoiling, wake foiling and smaller downwind bumps.
Important compatibility note: all current PNG V1 sizes are compatible with the AXIS Red Series Fuselage and AXIS Advance Red -Series Fuselages.

Within the AXIS front wing line-up, the PNG V1 sits firmly on the easy-glide, low-speed-efficiency side of the fence. PNG 1150 is the classic easy-lift, long-glide option. For many riders this is the sweet spot if you want maximum help getting up, excellent pumping efficiency and a wing that feels forgiving and confidence-inspiring.
PNG 1310 is the low-speed specialist. It is the one to look at for dedicated dock-start pumping, bigger riders, ultra-light-wind sessions and locations where you need as much help as possible getting up and staying flying.

Which AXIS PNG V1 size should I choose?
If you want the most all-round, easy-glide choice, start with the 1150. If you want something a bit more compact and lively, look at the 1010. If your focus is very low-speed pumping, dock starts or maximum help in weak conditions, the 1310 is the standout.
Will this front wing fit my current AXIS setup?
The current PNG V1 wings are for the AXIS Red Series platform, so they are compatible with the AXIS Red Series Fuselage and AXIS Advance Red -Series Fuselages. If you are unsure what you already own, send us a photo of your setup and we will point you in the right direction.
Is the PNG V1 good for wingfoiling?
Yes, particularly if you want easy lift and light-wind help rather than maximum speed. The 1010 and 1150 both make sense for wingfoiling depending on rider weight and conditions, while the 1310 is more specialist and more focused on very low-speed lift and pumping.
Do I need a carbon mast with the PNG V1?
Not always, but the bigger PNG sizes benefit from a stiffer, lower-drag mast. The 1310 in particular is happiest when paired with the AXIS Power Carbon or AXIS Carbon Power High Modulus Mast if you want to get the cleanest feel and best efficiency from it.
Is this the right AXIS front wing if I care about glide more than top speed?
