As for returns; we will happily refund an item purchased from The SUP Company if returned to us within 30 days; excluding gift vouchers and customised products, except when faulty. Returned goods must be unused and supplied in their original packaging, unless the goods are faulty.

If you want the efficiency of a mid-length foil board, but you also want something you can throw in the car, travel with, and not worry about dinging — the Duotone Skybrid Air is exactly that sweet spot. It’s an inflatable mid-length wing foil board built for freeride and freefly, giving you a longer take-off “runway”, smoother glide into flight, and forgiving touchdowns… without the bulk (or fragility) of a composite board.
Where the Skybrid Air sits in the range
Think of the Skybrid Air as the crossover between a compact wing board and a full downwind shape. You get that extra glide and early lift that mid-length boards are loved for, but in a more manoeuvrable, everyday-friendly outline.

Which size should you choose?
Mid-length boards are all about matching volume to your weight and how you ride. If you want the easiest low-wind take-offs and the most relaxed slogging, size up. If you’re already efficient and want a snappier feel in the air, size down.
- 5'10" / 85L: Best for lighter riders or anyone wanting a compact mid-length feel (fast to pump onto foil and lively in the air).
- 6'1" / 100L: The “most people” option — balanced early lift, stability, and freeride agility.
- 6'4" / 115L: Extra float and forgiveness for heavier riders, light-wind focus, or maximum ease when progressing.

Is the Skybrid Air suitable for beginners?
If you’re brand new to wing foiling, a mid-length board can be a brilliant confidence boost because it carries speed and lifts earlier — especially in lighter UK winds. The key is choosing enough volume for easy uphauls and relaxed taxiing. If you’re unsure, tell us your weight and experience and we’ll point you to the right size (or a more classic wing-board shape if that suits your spot better).
What’s the difference between Sky Air, Skybrid Air and Downwinder Air?
Sky Air feels like a classic inflatable wing board: compact, manoeuvrable and familiar. Skybrid Air adds length and pulls in the outline for earlier lift and more glide (mid-length crossover). Downwinder Air leans hardest into length and efficiency for ultra-early take-offs and glide, but feels more “downwind specialist”.
Will my foil fit this board?
The Skybrid Air uses twin US plate tracks, which is the standard mount used by most modern wing foils. If you’re not sure about compatibility (especially with older gear), send us your foil brand/model and we’ll confirm.
Can I ride it strapless and add straps later?
Yes. Many riders start strapless for simplicity and easy progression, then add straps later for jumping, speed and more locked-in control. The board is built with strap options, but straps/hardware are not included unless stated on your order.
Is this a good travel board?
That’s one of its main reasons to exist. Inflatable construction keeps storage simple and reduces the stress of knocks and dings. If you’re regularly travelling, it’s the most hassle-free way to get genuine mid-length performance without a bulky board bag and roof rack drama.
