If your priority is outright speed without the usual nervous, sketchy feel, the Duotone Blitz D/LAB Foil Front Wing is the sharp end of Duotone’s current foil range. This is a proper freerace front wing for experienced wingfoilers and kitefoilers who want to ride faster, hold control at higher speeds, and keep the whole setup feeling settled when the pressure comes on.
Within the Duotone range, the Blitz D/LAB sits beyond the Glide 2.0 D/LAB if your goal is maximum top-end speed rather than all-round glide, pump and downwind crossover. If you want a wider speed range and easier low-speed lift, the Glide makes more sense. If you want a foil that feels cleaner, faster and more locked-in when you are really pushing, the Blitz is the one to choose.

If you are regularly riding powered up, enjoy fast reaches, or want a foil that feels settled when you keep loading it harder, the Blitz D/LAB earns its place. If you are still prioritising earliest take-off, forgiving stall speed and multi-discipline versatility, stay with the Glide platform instead.
R190 stabiliser pairing: for the intended Blitz feel, this front wing is best matched with the Duotone R190 rear stabiliser, which is designed to improve yaw stability and pitch control at speed.
Best with the 47cm D/LAB tail: if you want to get the full freerace benefit from the Blitz, pair it with the Duotone Fuselage Aero Tail D/LAB in 47cm. That longer tail and the 3BS+ connection help keep the setup feeling solid and planted when speeds climb.

Which size should you choose?
550: choose this if your goal is maximum speed, you ride well-powered conditions, or you want the smallest, fastest Blitz feel available. This is the more specialist option for confident riders who know they want top-end performance first.
800: choose this if you still want the Blitz speed character but need a bit more support in lighter winds, on upwind courses, or as a heavier rider. It is still fast, but noticeably more usable day to day.

Who is the Blitz D/LAB for?
This is for experienced riders who want more speed and efficiency than an all-round foil usually offers. If you are already comfortable foiling fast and want a setup that feels more race and freerace focused, the Blitz is a very strong next step.
What is the difference between the 550 and 800?
The 550 is the more specialist high-speed option and suits stronger winds and riders chasing maximum pace. The 800 keeps the same Blitz DNA but gives you a bit more support, making it the easier choice for lighter winds, upwind work and heavier riders.
Is the Blitz D/LAB a better choice than the Glide 2.0 D/LAB?
Not better for everyone, just more specialised. The Glide 2.0 D/LAB is the broader, more versatile performance foil. The Blitz D/LAB is the better choice if your main aim is top-end speed, control at pace and freerace performance.
Do I need the 47cm D/LAB tail?
If you want the Blitz to feel the way it was intended, yes, that is the pairing we would usually recommend. The longer 47cm tail adds stability and works with the 3BS+ connection to keep the setup composed at high speed.
Is this a good foil for pumping and downwind use?
That is not really what the Blitz is built around. It will carry speed efficiently, but if pump, glide and downwind crossover are your main priorities, the Glide 2.0 D/LAB is the better fit.
Can you help me choose the right size and pairing?
