Description

The Duotone Glide 2.0 SLS Foil Front Wing is for riders who already understand what they want from a foil: easier speed, longer glide, stronger pumping efficiency and a setup that feels lively rather than cumbersome. It is one of the most appealing front wings in the Duotone range for riders moving beyond basic first flights and into more efficient wing foiling, prone foiling and downwind use.

In simple terms, this is the foil to choose when you want more distance from each pump, cleaner speed carry between sections and a more “free” feeling under your feet. It keeps the user-friendly nature that made the original Glide popular, but the 2.0 shape has clearly moved things on with better lift-to-drag efficiency, earlier take-off and a more playful feel in turns.

Where the Duotone Glide 2.0 SLS Sits in the Range

This is not the easiest, most beginner-led foil in the Duotone line-up, and that is exactly why many progressing riders will love it. If you are completely new to foiling, heavier, or want the most reassuring first-flight experience possible, the Duotone Aero Lift SLS makes more sense. If you want a forgiving all-round foil that still has a broad performance ceiling, the Duotone Free 2.0 is the sweet spot.

The Glide 2.0 SLS is the step up from there. It is aimed at riders who are already getting up and flying consistently and now want more efficiency, more pump, better glide between bumps and a foil that opens the door to longer runs and broader use across wing, prone and downwind foiling.

If you want the same overall concept in a more premium, lighter and more direct construction, the next move up is the Duotone Glide 2.0 D/LAB.

Why Choose the Duotone Glide 2.0 SLS?

  • Better glide between pumps: ideal if you want to cover more distance with less effort.
  • Earlier take-off: gets you flying sooner without feeling oversized or sluggish.
  • More efficient for its size: delivers the lift you would normally expect from a bigger foil.
  • Still fun to turn: not just a straight-line glider — it keeps a lively, manoeuvrable feel.
  • Genuinely versatile: works well for wing foiling, prone foiling and downwind use.
  • Smart upgrade path: a strong choice for riders moving on from more all-round or beginner-focused front wings.

Which Size Should You Choose?

750
The smallest and quickest-feeling size in the range. Best for lighter riders, stronger wind, more speed-focused riding and those who already know they want a more compact, performance-led feel.

900
A very strong all-round performance option for riders who want glide and speed without going too specialised. For many experienced wingfoilers, this is the sweet spot.

1100
A brilliant choice when you want a little more lift and easier take-off without losing the Glide 2.0’s efficient character. Likely the safest pick for a lot of progressing riders.

1350
The biggest, most lift-oriented size in the range. Best for heavier riders, lower-speed conditions, prone and downwind use, and for experienced riders wanting a lifty, stall-friendly option with excellent pump.

Helpful Reading & Buying Advice

Explore the Range

Is the Duotone Glide 2.0 SLS a good first foil?

For most complete beginners, not really. It is better suited to riders who are already up and flying and now want more efficiency, glide and performance. If you want the easiest entry point, the Aero Lift SLS is the better place to start, while the Free 2.0 is the smarter all-round progression option.

What is the difference between the Glide 2.0 SLS and the Glide 2.0 D/LAB?

They sit in the same family and target the same sort of rider, but the D/LAB is the more premium version with a lighter, stiffer and more direct feel. The SLS still delivers excellent performance and is the more sensible choice for a lot of riders who want strong value as well as strong glide.

Should I size down compared with the previous Glide?

In many cases, yes. One of the key improvements in the Glide 2.0 is that it generates lift and efficiency that can feel like riding a size up from the previous generation. Rider weight, board choice and conditions still matter, but many riders will end up choosing smaller than they expected.

Which stabiliser should I pair with it?

For most riders, the H stabiliser is the best all-round match and the pairing we would usually point you towards first. If you want a more wave-led feel, the S stabiliser is worth considering. If your goal is more speed-oriented riding, the P stabiliser is the more specialist option.

Can the Glide 2.0 SLS be used for downwind and prone foiling?

Yes, absolutely. That is one of the reasons this foil is so popular. It has the glide efficiency and lift needed for downwind and prone use, and the larger 1350 size is especially appealing if you want a more lifty, stall-friendly option.

Is this a complete foil setup?

No. This product is the front wing only. If you are building a full setup, you will also need the correct rear stabiliser, mast, fuselage and hardware-compatible components. If you are not sure what to pair it with, get in touch and we will help you build the right setup for your riding.

Specifications

  • Features

More cambered profile for extra lift
Duotone has added lift where it matters, so the Glide 2.0 feels efficient and supportive at lower speeds. That means easier take-offs, better carry and less work to stay flying.

Surface area concentrated through the centre
Rather than simply making the wing feel big, the shape puts more working area where most of the lift is generated. On the water, that translates to a foil that punches above its size without becoming clumsy.

    Thinner, lower-drag tips
These help the foil roll more cleanly from side to side and reduce resistance through the water. The result is a smoother, faster and more natural feeling foil when linking bumps or carving.

High aspect shape with real-world ease
The Glide 2.0 has the pump-and-glide efficiency people want from a high aspect wing, but it does not feel overly technical or fussy. That balance is a big part of its appeal.

Designed around the new H stabilisers
For most riders, the H stabiliser is the natural pairing because it keeps the setup balanced and all-round. If your riding is more wave-led, the S stabiliser can make sense. If speed is your main aim, the P stabiliser is worth considering.
