Duotone Skybrid D/LAB 2027
The Skybrid D/LAB expands to five sizes from 60 to 100 litres. It uses Duotone's hollow Shell Composite Construction, an advanced carbon sandwich monocoque concept designed to produce a very light and stiff full-volume board.
Duotone states that the construction is more than 30% lighter than the Skybrid SLS equivalent. The practical purpose is lower swing weight: the board should feel less influential once on foil while retaining enough volume to stand, taxi and restart.
This is especially relevant to freefly and parawing riders who want volume before take-off but do not want the board to dominate the ride once airborne. It can also appeal to performance freeriders wanting a highly responsive mid-length platform.

- Positive volume: board volume comfortably above rider weight is usually easier for standing starts and inconsistent wind.
- Near-neutral volume: can balance reduced size with enough support for an experienced rider.
